Riichi Yamamoto

Riichi joined the SigmaTEK Japan team in 2003 as Technical Manager where he contributed to establish the Japanese operation.

With his background in computer software development, sheet metal fabrication, and design automation, he has worked closely with the U.S. development team to make Sigmatek products what they are today.

As the team grew he served as Technical Director and continued to be widely successful in implementing large scale projects delivering innovative solutions to many clients in many industrial sectors.

He specializes in consulting clients with Kaizen or continuous improvement where he can help improve their manufacturing process, increase efficiency and productivity, while producing a good return on their investment.

Riichi took over as Managing Director in 2018 where he continues to grow operations, improve brand awareness and reputation, and create strategic OEM relationships.

Riichi and his family live in Yokohama, Japan.
