Zack Alcyone

Co-Founder at Signafide

Zack Alcyone is the co-founder of Signafide. Zack has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, including stints as a CEO and management consultant.

Alcyone began their career at McKinsey & Company, where they worked as a management consultant for two years. In 2006, they left McKinsey to become the CEO of Playlore, Inc., a video game company. Zack ran Playlore for eight years before leaving to start Briefit, a regulation technology SaaS company.

At Briefit, Alcyone created tools using NLP, machine-learning and deep learning to analyze regulatory documents and intelligently connect them to relevant regulations. Zack designed and implemented most of the architecture and code base in Java, Scala, Apache Spark and Python.

In 2018, Alcyone left Briefit to co-found Signafide, a startup that is developing a new way to verify identity online.
