Robert Iams

Robert Iams has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on government contracting and multinational casualty management. Robert currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Government Contracting at Signal Mutual since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AIG, where they served as Head of Defense Base Act from April 2018 to June 2022, Multinational Casualty Manager from May 2014 to April 2018, and Regional Manager AIGRM from April 2006 to April 2014. Before joining AIG, they were Territory Manager at Empire Fire and Marine, a Division of Zurich from May 2002 to April 2006. Robert started their career at PNC as an Insurance Product Manager from October 2000 to May 2002. Prior to PNC, they worked at EBI Companies, where they held various roles including Regional Manager from September 1998 to October 2000, Business Development Manager from February 1997 to September 1998, and Underwriting Assistant / Claims Representative from May 1995 to January 1997.

Robert Iams attended Vanderbilt University from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Engineering Science.
