Miguel Martinez

Miguel Martinez is the Co-Founder and Chief Data Scientist of Signal AI. Miguel has also served as an industry advisor, researcher, and teaching assistant in the past.

Martinez has a wealth of experience in the field of data science. Miguel began their career as a researcher in Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Machine Learning. Miguel then transitioned into a role as an Information Retrieval Consultant. After that, they became a Visiting Researcher. And finally, they became a Teaching Assistant.

In their current role at Signal AI, Martinez is responsible for applying and proposing new models and ideas from Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Machine Learning. Miguel is also responsible for curating data sets and developing algorithms that help the company achieve its goals.

Miguel Martinez has a PhD in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London. Miguel also has a Master in Computer Science from Universidad de Oviedo and a degree in Computer Science from the same school. Miguel is certified by Coursera in New Venture Finance, Innovation for Entrepreneurs, Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies, Text Retrieval and Search Engines, Pattern Discovery in Data Mining, and Machine Learning.
