Karen Wright

Karen Wright serves as the Deputy Director at Signal Centers and the TN Child Care Resource and Referral Network since May 2019. With extensive experience in child care and health promotion, Karen collaborates with state agencies to foster healthy and safe environments for young children in Tennessee. Further roles include Health Promotions Coordinator for Signal Centers, Inc and the TN Dept of Health since January 2014, and various positions at Signal Centers, Inc since 2007, including TN Child Care Resource and Referral Coordinator and Network Coordinator. Karen also served as Adjunct Faculty at Roane State Community College from August 2011 to May 2019, and worked as an Early Intervention Specialist at the Michael Dunn Center from March 2013 to June 2015. Prior experience includes Site Coordinator at The Michael Dunn Center and Home Visitor at The Henry Center. Educationally, Karen holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Middle Tennessee State University.
