Karl Schadlich began their work experience in 2004 as a Crash Fire Rescue firefighter in the United States Marine Corps, where they held multiple billeted positions and demonstrated expertise in firefighting protocols and aircraft regulations. Karl then transitioned to a refractory technician role at Caldon Inc. in 2008. In 2012, they briefly worked as a carpenter at Benjamin and Company Timber Frames and Custom Homes. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a designer at Charette Design, where they gained experience in various stages of the design process and developed construction documents for commercial retail, food service, and residential projects. In 2014, they joined Signal Energy and has held several roles, including Senior Project Engineer, Pre-Construction Manager, Director of Business Development, and their current position as Sr. Director of Business Development.

Karl Schadlich received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Architecture from the University of Maine at Augusta in the years 2010 to 2014. Karl also obtained a Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) certification from Procore Technologies in 2021.
