Karla Martinez

Karla Martinez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in organizational management and consulting. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Signal Energy since June 2025, Karla previously held the position of Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from October 2021 to May 2025, and worked as a Manager (Human Capital Organizational Change) and Senior Consultant at Alvarez & Marsal between August 2018 and September 2021. Earlier in her career, Karla was a Senior Strategy Consultant at IBM and held roles as Manager of Teacher Leadership Development and High School Math Teacher at Teach For America from August 2009 to May 2015. Karla earned an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management in 2017 and a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University in 2009.
