Tracking SIG's projects as Technical Project Manager is Greg Brown, who has more than 20+ years working in the Interactive Television Industry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University. Greg’s career began working for N.A.S.A at Ames Research Center in the Network Services Development group at Moffett Field. After working in the Government Sector for a few years Greg moved to the public sector working at small and mid-sized companies, Telogy and Network General. He joined ActiveVideo (then ICTV) and delivered their first Interactive Television Platform, Magic Cable, to St. Joseph Missouri providing Games, Email and Internet access to TV's in the late 90's. He then took over set-top development for ActiveVideo in 2004 and delivered set-top clients to multiple Operators around the world including Grande, CableVision, TimeWarner, Liberty, PCCW, VTR, NTL, VNL and Comcast for DAVIC, DOCSIS and IPTV environments. After Greg left ActiveVideo he started his own consulting business. His biggest clients were OpenZNet and NAB working on NAB's Pilot gateway and managing ATSC3.0 interop with several CE Vendors. After Covid slowed down that industry Greg joined Signal Infrastructure as Technical Project Manager and continues to oversee new projects.
