Max Radermacher has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2007, they were the Technical Director at Blue Water Theatre Company, where they were responsible for the technical elements of community theatre productions. In 2008, they became the Website Manager & Store Clerk at The Bookcase, responsible for website management, data entry, and customer service. Max also developed a web-based customer rewards tracking system. In 2009, they founded idigit, developing and releasing seven iPhone/iPod touch/iPad applications and managing the business, including preparation of monthly financial statements. Max also provided website design and computer consulting to local nonprofit and business organizations. In 2010, they became an Associate Software Engineer at Concrete Software, Inc., where they were the primary developer of “Aces Speed,” an application featured by Apple on the iPad. Max also converted applications between platforms and worked on other projects, including “Aces Traffic Pack” and “Aces Solitaire Pack 2.” In 2013, they became a Web/Mobile Software Intern at MTS Systems Corporation, contributing to an HTML5-based mobile application for remote hardware status monitoring. Max was part of a development team which utilized the agile development process. Finally, in 2014, they joined WhatsApp Inc. as a Software Engineer & Manager, working on the iPhone app, including low-level infra components such as databases, file systems, networking, and performance. Max also contributed to release engineering and continuous integration efforts. Max is currently a Software Engineer at Signal Messenger.
Max Radermacher attended Wayzata High School from 2008 to 2012. Max then went on to Stanford University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2016.
