Steve Apperson

Steve Apperson has a strong background in environmental health and safety, with experience in various roles. Steve is currently serving as the Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety at Signal Peak Silica LLC since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Health & Safety Manager at Preferred from August 2018 to March 2019. Steve also has a long history with CONSOL Energy, where they held positions such as Safety Supervisor, Manager of Safety (Pennsylvania Region), and Safety Inspector from 2004 to 2018. Before joining CONSOL Energy, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at the City of Lancaster, Ohio from June 2002 to June 2004. Additionally, Steve gained valuable experience at Gould Electronics where they held roles as Production and Maintenance Supervisor and Quality Control Laboratory Technician from 1994 to 2002. Steve started their career as an Environmental Technician at Glacier Clevite from June 1991 to June 1994.

Steve Apperson earned an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Resource Management from Muskingum Area Technical College between 1989 and 1991. Steve later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Mount Vernon Nazarene University from 2003 to 2005.
