Phil Williams

Phil is a member of the investment team with responsibilities across the entire deal sourcing, diligence, and post-investment process. Phil is a board observer at portfolio companies Degreed, True Fit, Chatbooks, and BDNA.

Phil has nearly 11 years of operating, finance, consulting and sales experience including 5 years in venture capital. His background includes venture-backed startups, large enterprises and direct venture experience. Past companies include Amazon, Allegiance Software, HP, Logoworks, Pelion Venture Partners and a private consulting practice.

Phil graduated with an MBA from Brigham Young University where he was a Managing Director of Cougar Capital, an MBA student-run evergreen VC fund. Prior to the MBA program, Phil received a business degree with a finance emphasis from Brigham Young University.

Outside of Signal Peak, Phil is an avid road biker and skier. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
