Maa Teresa Thurston Cmrs

Teresa Thurston, MAA, CMRS, currently serves as a Billing Specialist at Signal Restoration Services since July 2022. With extensive experience in the medical billing and education fields, Teresa previously taught as a Medical Office Specialist and Billing and Coding Instructor for Adults at the Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development from 2009 to September 2022. Additionally, Teresa owned Northside Physician Management Services from January 2004 to September 2022, specializing in practice management for physicians, including credentialing and claims processing. Teresa also held leadership roles as Vice President and Treasurer for the CinAMBA Chapter of AMBA Community between 2011 and 2012 and worked at Walmart as a Support and Department Manager from 1987 to 1998. Teresa earned an Associate's Degree in Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and holds a CMRS certification in Medical Billing and Reimbursement from AMBA Certification Studies.
