Ian Jiang

Ian Jiang is a skilled software engineer with diverse experience in the technology sector. Currently employed at Signal 1 as a Software Engineer since February 2023, Ian previously worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Alloy from October 2020 to February 2023, and as a Software Engineer at Ericsson from May 2019 to October 2020, where notable contributions included implementing dynamic spectrum sharing with an arbitration algorithm for LTE and 5G. Ian's research background includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, focusing on a VGG19 model for building safety classification, and as an Android Engineer at the same institution, creating an application for data entry and visualizing tree layouts for the Ottawa Arboretum. Ian began the career at Martello Technologies as a Software Engineer, enhancing user interfaces and performing regression tests.
