Wentao Xu

Wentao Xu is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, currently employed at SignalFire since September 2020. Xu has previously held positions as a Full Stack Engineer at Thumbtack and as a Quantitative Researcher at Higher Moment Capital LP. Early in the career, Xu completed internships at LendUp and Sighten, Inc., where contributions included developing a data exploration tool and streamlining processes for the solar industry. Xu's experience also spans data analytics and consulting roles at Formlabs and PwC Strategy&, as well as associate and research roles in the Harvard College Consulting Group and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Xu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Computer Science and Economics from Harvard University.
