Joe Mercer is an experienced general manager currently leading Signature Brew, a 200 capacity music venue and taproom since April 2021, with a focus on establishing it as the premier venue in East London. Previously, Joe held multiple managerial positions at Mitchells & Butlers PLC from October 2016 to April 2021, where responsibilities included maintaining business viability during the COVID-19 pandemic, managing relationships with promoters, and successfully reopening venues. Joe's early career included roles at FORBIDDEN PLANET LIMITED and JD Wetherspoon, alongside educational achievements from De Montfort University in Radio Production and Film Studies and Journalism.
