Daryl started their career at Colonial Bank in 2000 as an AVP Commercial Real Estate, where they worked until 2003. Daryl then joined BancorpSouth as a VP - Commercial Real Estate, where they served for four years. In 2007, they started working at Valley National Bank as the Commercial Loans Team Leader, a position they held until 2018. During their time at Valley National Bank, they also served as the SVP - Commercial Team Leader at USAmeriBank from 2007 to 2018. Currently, Daryl Spears is the CFO at Signature Homes since 2018 and is set to become the President in January 2024.

Daryl Spears obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the University of Montevallo, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Daryl also holds a certification in CCIM, but there is no information available about the institution or the year it was obtained.
