Suzanne Motta, SHRM-CP, has an extensive and diverse work experience. Starting in 1992, they worked at University Ophthalmic Consultants of Washington as an Associate Administrator for six years. Following this, they worked at LCA Vision as the Medical Support Director from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they served as the Administrator at University Ophthalmic Consultants of Washington. Motta then transitioned to HCRS, Inc., where they worked as the Director of Operations from 2002 to 2009. Simultaneously, they held the role of President at AXIS POINT Consulting, LLC from 2009 to 2011. Subsequently, they worked at MCSHRM as the President Elect from 2017 to 2020. In 2010, they joined Signature Performance, Inc. and took on roles including Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Sr. Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Motta also served as the President of Montgomery County SHRM from January to March 2020. Currently, they are working as the Treasurer at MD SHRM.

Suzanne Motta, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in February 2021. Additionally, they have obtained the COVID-19 Contact Tracing certification from Coursera in September 2020, and the Veterans at Work certification from SHRM in May 2020.
