Kris Cano

Kris Cano serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at Leadership Austin since January 2025, focusing on revenue strategy and donor lifecycle management. Previously, Kris held roles as Director of Partnerships and Business Development at Leadership Austin, Executive Director at YWCA Greater Austin, and General Manager of WestWorld for the City of Scottsdale. Kris's extensive experience in forensic services includes serving as Director of Forensic Services and Crime Laboratory Manager for the City of Scottsdale, as well as a forensic biologist with the United States Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Chemistry from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Florida State University.
