Sunil Thimmaiah

Sunil Thimmaiah has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Sunil'smost recent position was as a Senior Business Development Manager at SignDesk, where they focused on new business opportunities and sales portfolio management. Sunil successfully developed and implemented comprehensive business development strategies that led to an increase in annual revenue. Sunil also excelled in negotiating and closing high-value contracts with key clients, resulting in long-term partnerships and increased market share.

Prior to SignDesk, Sunil worked at Aldius Consulting in various roles, including Global Account Manager, Global Service Delivery Manager, and Business Development Manager-US. As a Business Development Manager, they were responsible for establishing rapport with potential clients, planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, researching organizations and individuals for new opportunities, improving sales, and attending industry events. Sunil also developed goals for the development team and business growth and ensured they were met.

Before that, Sunil served as a Senior Inside Sales Manager at Simplilearn, where they built creative sales strategies focused on consumer satisfaction and revenue generation. Sunil was responsible for cold calling, prospecting, forecasting, territory management, and account management. Sunil also conducted research and performed analyses on the sales team's performance and managed resources to optimize team performance and revenue generation.

Earlier in their career, Sunil worked as a Business Improvement Specialist at Tangoe, where they played a key role in inventory database maintenance, provisioning, and content management for clients. Sunil was also involved in negotiating service level agreements and providing progress updates to senior management.

Sunil began their career at Infosys as a Process Advisor, where they worked from 2015 to 2016.

Sunil Thimmaiah obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sahyadri Institute Of Management Studies, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Sunil then pursued a PGDM in Digital Business from IFIM Business School from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Sunil has obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they became a Certified Data Scientist through Simplilearn. Sunil also completed courses such as "Statistics Essentials for Data Science" and "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI" from Simplilearn in July 2019. Sunil further enhanced their skill set by completing the course "Computer-Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application V5" from Dassault Systèmes in January 2015. More recently, in August 2022, they obtained certifications in "Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook" and "Sales Management Foundations" from LinkedIn.
