Vinay Rao

Vinay B's work experience includes roles in various companies and positions. Vinay is currently employed at SignDesk as an Associate Product Manager, a role they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Key Account Manager at SignDesk from December 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining SignDesk, Vinay worked at Tercept Inc where they held multiple roles. Vinay started as a Business Analyst Intern from August 2017 to January 2018. Vinay then became a Senior Business Analyst from February 2018 to November 2019, where they focused on Ad Revenue Optimization for Digital Publishers using data-driven machine learning algorithms. Lastly, they served as a Lead Analyst from November 2019 to November 2020.

In 2017, Vinay also completed a Data Science and Analytics Internship at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. During this four-week remote internship, they gained experience in applying basic concepts of Data Analytics, Statistics, and Econometrics to solve business cases published by Harvard Business School.

Vinay's earliest work experience was at Symphony 440 Design Group, where they served as a Project Engineer from January 2014 to January 2015. Vinay later became the Co-Founder of the Residential Automation & Integration Division at the same company, a role they held from January 2015 to July 2017.

Vinay B attended Alva's Pre University College in Moodbidri from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Pre University with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Statistics. Following their time at Alva's, Vinay went on to study at PES University from 2009 to 2013. At PES University, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics.

In addition to their formal education, Vinay has obtained several certifications. In January 2017, they completed the course "Basic Statistics" offered by the University of Amsterdam on Coursera. In March 2017, Vinay completed an "Introduction to R" course from DataCamp. Finally, in July 2017, they obtained a certification in "Data Science and Analytics using R Programming" from Udemy.
