Greg Sparrow

Vice President Of Mission Critical Technologies at Signet Electronic Systems

Greg Sparrow has a significant amount of experience in the field of communication and control systems. Greg started their career as a Communications Engineer at Parsons Transportation Group in 1994, where they were involved in the design and technical construction management of communication systems for transportation projects. Greg then moved to SESCO in 1996 as a Project Manager, where they oversaw large-scale communication and control system projects for international airports and transit authorities.

In 2000, Greg joined GE Transportation Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for bidding and estimating new projects and providing technical oversight to the engineering team. Greg also developed system architecture, selected vendors, and created detailed technical proposals. Greg remained with GE Transportation Systems until 2007.

After leaving GE Transportation Systems, Greg joined SIGNET Electronic Systems, Inc. as the Director of System Integration. In this position, they managed and provided technical guidance to the project operations team. Greg was also responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of integrated solutions, including security systems, communication systems, and audio/visual systems. In 2012, Greg took on the role of Director of Project Management at SIGNET, where they continued to lead and coach project teams, develop project management support policies, and implement new technologies.

In 2017, Greg was promoted to Vice President of Mission Critical Technologies at SIGNET. In this role, they played a key leadership role in the company and focused on exploring and implementing new technology options.

Greg Sparrow graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1995 and 1996, they attended Harvard University Extension School, where they took graduate classes in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their formal education, Greg has obtained several certifications in various areas, including being a Certified A/V Associate from Extron Electronics, a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) from InfoComm International, a Digital Media Certified Designer (DMC-D) from Crestron Electronics, an Electronic Safety & Security (ESS) Design Certification from BICSI, a Network Technology Systems (NTS) Certification from BICSI, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) from BICSI.
