Bas Ras

Bas Ras has extensive work experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Bas started their career as a Management Trainee at Laurus in 1999 and then moved on to LG.Philips Displays as an Initial Buyer responsible for mask and metalware procurement. In 2004, they joined Philips as a Purchasing Manager and later held roles as Senior Manager Purchasing Plastics, Senior Manager Purchasing Mechanics and Supplier Development, and Director Purchasing Innovation Centre Philips Bruges. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Director of Purchasing Finished Goods at Philips. Bas then joined Philips Lighting as an Account Manager Outsourcing and eventually became the Senior Director. Currently, Bas Ras is working at Signify as a Procurement Business Partner, Procurement Manager Prof Europe, and Procurement Lead.

Bas Ras attended Bisschoppelijk College Sittard from 1988 to 1993. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics at Maastricht University from 1993 to 1999.
