Ellis Janssen

Ellis Janssen is the Global Director of City Farming at Signify, where they oversee the vertical farming segment and lead a team dedicated to cultivating high-quality, pesticide-free fresh produce year-round. Previously, Ellis held various strategic roles at Philips Lighting, including Senior Key Account Manager, where they achieved significant turnover growth and managed key accounts in the Benelux region. In addition to their tenure at Philips, they also worked as a Category Manager for Unilever and contributed to innovative marketing strategies and product launches. Ellis earned a Master’s degree in International Business Studies from Universiteit Maastricht and graduated cum laude from Bisschoppelijk College Sittard.
