George Lyons

George Lyons is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Signify since April 2020, George previously held the position of Program Manager at Kinetics Drive Solutions Inc. from June 2014 to June 2019. Notable earlier roles include Head of Product Development at TMMI for a brief period in late 2013, and a long tenure at Epson Research and Development Inc. from 1990 to August 2012 as a Director. In the film industry, George worked from January 1988 to January 1992 as a Props Design / Computer Graphics specialist, contributing to the design of electronics props and computer graphics playback for over 48 films and commercials. George's career began at Gemini Tech as an app engineer from 1988 to 1990. Educationally, George holds a Diploma in Engineering Technologist with a focus on Control Option from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 1982 to 1984.
