Ger Van Hees has extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the lighting industry, currently serving as Research Development Group Manager at Signify since October 2019. Prior to this role, Ger held various positions at Signify, including Quality And Reliability Engineer, and at Philips Innovative Applications as Group Leader Development. Additional experience includes serving as Engineering Manager and Project Leader at Philips Lighting, where Ger was involved in product development and quality improvement projects. Ger began a career in engineering as a Process Development Engineer, conducting tests to release new processes and contributing to industrialization projects. Ger holds a Master's degree in Engineering from KU Leuven, earned between 1995 and 1999.
