Miikka Oja

Miikka Oja is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience leading teams across prominent companies in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Signify since August 2018, Miikka oversees the full product and systems lifecycle quality and has successfully transitioned the organization from a hardware-centric to a software-centric focus. Prior to this role, Miikka held various leadership positions at Microsoft, including Manufacturing Change Review Board Leader and Head of Product & Customer Quality, where significant improvements in delivery quality were achieved. Miikka's foundational career began at Nokia, where numerous roles were held, culminating in significant contributions to the Mobile Phones Business Unit's quality governance and process improvement initiatives. Miikka is backed by a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Automation Technology from Oulu University of Applied Sciences and boasts certifications as an EFQM Assessor and Six Sigma Black Belt.
