Nathan Millen

Nathan Millen has a wealth of experience in intellectual property and engineering roles. Nathan began their career at Omega Design Solutions Uk Ltd as a Design Engineer and In-house IP manager, where they completed their Mechanical Engineering degree and secured numerous rights for the company in various IP areas. Nathan then worked as a Self Employed Engineer at NJM before joining PDX as an IP Engineer, where they managed a large portfolio of patents and coordinated with legal counsel. Millen then joined Philips Lighting as an Intellectual Property Counsel, before moving to Signify, where they held the position of Senior Intellectual Property Counsel and is currently serving as the Lead Intellectual Property Counsel for New Business Development.

Nathan Millen attended Bournemouth University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at The University of Huddersfield from 2003 to 2007, earning a Beng degree. In 2021, Nathan obtained certification as a European Patent Attorney from the European Patent Office.
