Peter Hoekstra

Peter Hoekstra is an experienced engineer specializing in indoor positioning algorithms and software development. Currently serving as Lead Development Engineer at Signify since April 2018, Peter previously held positions at Philips Lighting and Philips Innovation Services, where expertise in decoding VLC signals, algorithm implementation, and software design was demonstrated. Earlier roles at Philips Research involved developing calibration software and trajectory generation for robotic systems. Peter's extensive software design experience dates back to work in motion control with Philips CFT. Peter also has a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and additional studies at Technische Universität Berlin.
