Rik Willems

Rik Willems is currently an Identity and Access Management Architect at Signify, where they develop global architectures for Identity Governance and Administration services. They previously served as a Network and Telecom Architect at Signify, focusing on various network solutions. Rik completed a PhD and a postdoctoral fellowship at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they researched gamma aluminium oxynitride and polymer-ceramic hybrid materials. They also hold a Master of Science in Chemical Technology from the same institution and have extensive experience as a Senior Scientist at Philips, specializing in both material science and software architectures for distributed systems.
