Rohit Kumar has extensive experience in the field of lighting and data analytics. Rohit began their career at the University of Texas at Arlington as a Research Assistant, where they conducted research in wavelets and filter banks. Rohit then worked at MathWorks as a Quality Engineering Intern, where they developed a framework to test the performance of various toolboxes.

Afterward, Rohit joined Boston University as a Graduate Research Fellow, conducting research and teaching classes on Signals and Systems and Electric Circuits. Rohit then returned to MathWorks as a Quality Engineer, supporting the development of new tools in signal processing.

Rohit completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University from 2005 to 2011.
