Samir Al-Aref is the General Manager at Signify, where they have been leading operations in the Middle East since 2018. Prior to joining Signify, Samir held multiple positions at Philips Lighting, including Director of Strategy and Governmental Affairs, and various managerial roles in outdoor and public lighting. Samir began their career as an R&D Electrical Engineer at the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau from 2006 to 2008. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in 2006.
