Sandeep Kumar

Sandeep Kumar is the Director and R&D Group Manager of IoT Security at Signify Research in Eindhoven, Netherlands. They hold professional certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT). Sandeep earned a Ph.D. in Security of Embedded Systems and Cryptographic Hardware from the Ruhr-University Bochum, where they also served as a Research Scientist focused on Elliptic Curve Cryptography. With a rich background at Philips Lighting and Philips, Sandeep has led initiatives in secure architectures and actively participated in IoT security standardization efforts. Additionally, Sandeep is a member of the ITEA Cyber Security Advisory Board, contributing to the understanding of urgent Cyber Security needs in various projects.
