Wilbert Ijzerman

Wilbert IJzerman serves as the Head of Sector for Lighting Technology at Signify since May 2018 and has been a Professor of Illumination Optics at TU/e Eindhoven University of Technology since January 2014. Prior to these roles, IJzerman held various leadership positions at Philips Lighting from May 2000 to May 2018, including Head of Technology Innovation Sector and Manager of Advanced Development Europe. IJzerman's educational background includes a OneMBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, as well as a Dr. in Applied Mathematics and dual Ir. degrees in Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente.
