Nia Schmald

Nia Schmald has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Nia began their career at Wind River Systems as a Software Engineer from 1997 to 1999. Nia then worked at Coactive Networks as a Software Engineer from 1999 to 2000. Nia then joined Peribit Networks as a Software Engineer from 2002 to 2005. Nia later joined Juniper Networks as a SW Architect from 2004 to 2007, and also worked as a Sr. Manager at Juniper Networks in Bangalore, India from 2006 to 2007. Nia then became the Chief Engineer at Real Cloud Computing Technologies, Inc. from 2010 to 2014, where they were responsible for mobile social and real-time communication applications. Nia then worked at YosemiteCloud, Inc. as an Architect from 2015 to 2017, focusing on Ad Tech and a real-time bidding platform. Currently, they are employed as the Chief Software Architect at Signifyd since 2017.

Nia Schmald attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science.
