David Chapman

David Chapman has worked in the IT industry since 1997. David began their career as an AS/400 Operator at Whirlpool Corporation, where they were responsible for daily system backups and warranty checks. David then worked their way up to Application Analyst I and II, Technical Analyst II, and Senior Delivery Analyst at Whirlpool. In 2009, they transitioned to IBM as an Infrastructure Analyst, where they managed global server patch management activities and VMware Virtual Center/ESX infrastructure support. In 2012, they became a Senior Systems Engineer at Conversant Group, LLC, where they were responsible for several large projects involving new VMware guest VMs, new installations of software, new switches, SAN upgrades, and Watchguard firewalls. In 2016, they moved to SIGNiX as a Systems Engineer.

David Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. David also holds two professional certifications from VMware: VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV), obtained in September 2013, and VMware Certified Professional 3 (VCP3), obtained in March 2010.
