Carmen Baillie

Carmen Baillie's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Carmen served as the Director of Customer Success at SignOnSite, where they played a key role in driving safety, efficiency, and data outcomes for construction companies. At Commonwealth Treasury, they worked as an Analyst within the Foreign Investment Policy Division, focusing on strengthening the legislative framework for critical infrastructure and applying the foreign investment framework in trade agreement negotiations. Carmen also worked as a Contract Administrator at PresCare, overseeing contract arrangements for service providers supporting people at home and in residential facilities. Prior to that, they joined the Australian Red Cross team in Uganda to develop funding proposals and refine the Resource Mobilisation strategy. Carmen's experience also includes working as an Estimator | Tenders at Technip, providing accurate cost estimates for energy projects and managing contract terms. Carmen served as a Team Leader | Business Coordinator at the Australian Institute of Management WA, where they led a team in delivering learning and development programs and growing customer accounts. Additionally, Carmen worked as a Human Resource Specialist, providing recruitment support and leading training program audits.

Carmen Baillie has a diverse education history. Carmen started their academic journey in 1999 at Murdoch University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with First Class Honours in Mass Communication. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2002, Carmen went on to study at The University of Queensland from 2013 to 2015. During this period, they earned a Master of Development Economics degree, specializing in Development Economics. Seeking to enhance their skill set, Carmen joined The Australian National University in 2017 for their Postgraduate Program in Applied Data Analytics, focusing on Computer Science and Business. In the same year, Carmen also completed a Micromaster program in Data Science through edX. With their extensive background in both economics and data analytics, Carmen Baillie possesses a diverse range of knowledge and expertise in these fields.
