Paul has spent 14 years in Special Operations, deploying to every major conflict. He earned a BS in Astrophysics and an MS in High Energy Particle Physics, conducting research at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory looking for the Higgs Boson. He played semi-professional rugby and went to the Olympic Trials twice as a heavyweight boxer. Heavily trained in trauma medicine, he gained a deep knowledge of physiology and neuroscience. A disruptive thinker, Paul established new protocols and rewrote aspects of the military’s approach to medicine, at the same time leading human performance research and development for US Special Operations Command. With a focus on brain health and cognitive enhancement, Paul now collaborates with professional athletes, academic institutions, and special projects to push the boundaries of what the body and mind can accomplish. At Signos, given his wealth of knowledge in medicine and optimizing human performance, Paul advises on product testing and development, creating metrics for various use cases. He is really good at tackling very hard problems.
