Mark Garlanger

Mark Garlanger has over 25 years of professional experience in software engineering. Mark began their career in 1989 as a Co-Op Engineer at Whirlpool Corp, where they worked with a senior hardware engineer to develop a system which controlled prototype washing machines. In 1993, they joined Convex Computer Corporation as a Kernel Software Engineer, working on runtime compatibility with HP-UX for a new scalable parallel processing machine. In 1994, they began working at Nortel Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led a team of 3 engineers to implement a critical protocol for a new product. In 2007, they joined NVIDIA as a Senior Software Engineer in the Professional Solutions Group, where they provided system software support for CUDA under Linux. In 2014, they joined Signpost as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were a member of a team of 4 to implement a new web application supporting internal Customer Support Representatives.

Mark Garlanger attended Lakeshore High School from 1984 to 1988. Mark then went on to Purdue University, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
