Frances Su is a seasoned professional in the field of materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager and Application Scientist at Sigray, Inc. since August 2019. Frances has a diverse background that includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego, where responsibilities included teaching undergraduate courses and conducting research on the micro- and nanoscale structures of bone. Previous experience includes student research positions at Harvey Mudd College focusing on mechanical properties of lizard egg compositions and tarantula locomotion, as well as participation in an NSF-funded undergraduate research program at Harvard University developing hydrogels for robotic applications. Frances holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
