Aurel Specker

Aurel Specker has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Aurel is currently the Head of Technology Management & Scouting (Hardtech) at Sihl Group since February 2021. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Technical Product Manager at Sihl Group, where they were involved in new business development, product development, and production transfer. Before that, they worked as an RnD Engineer at Novamem from October 2017 to March 2018. Aurel also served as a Masterthesis student at Sika Automotive AG from March 2016 to November 2016, where they focused on innovations management and implemented innovation concepts into the company's structure. Additionally, they had a six-month internship in adhesive development at Sika in 2014, where they worked on testing and documenting results. Aurel also gained professional experience as a Zivildienstleistender at ZHAW Life Sciences und Facility Management from March 2011 to August 2011 and as an intern at Microsynth AG in 2010.

Aurel Specker completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry and Business Studies at the University of Zurich from 2011 to 2015. They then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field and at the same university from 2015 to 2016.
