Michael Schmidt

Michael Schmidt is a dedicated Commercial Account Manager with extensive experience in managing commercial insurance accounts. Currently serving as a Commercial Account Manager III at Hotchkiss Insurance since April 2024, Michael previously held similar roles at Marsh McLennan from July 2022 to July 2023 and at Nelson's Insurance Services from September 2019 to July 2022. At Nelson's Insurance, responsibilities included servicing existing commercial clients and acquiring new clients for various types of commercial insurance. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, having studied there from 1988 to 1990, and also attended Carroll University from 1985 to 1987.
