Els Vriens

Els Vriens is a neurologist with an MD and PhD, currently serving as a neurologist at Gelre ziekenhuizen and as a member of the specialist board at Prisma. With a rich background that includes significant roles at Diakonessenhuis, UMC Utrecht, and a position as a senior physician at Sensire, Els has specialized in neurodegenerative disorders. Els pursued their education at Universiteit Utrecht, where they completed a medical degree and a PhD thesis focused on cerebral circulation. Presently, they are engaged in cross-disciplinary medical collaboration through Prisma and continue their academic endeavors at Universiteit Utrecht.
