Armaz Mellati has over 25 years of work experience in the IT sector. Armaz began their career in 1997 at UNINETT as a Scientist. Armaz then moved on to become a Technical Project Manager and a Faggruppeleder (Group Leader) for the SystemIntegration group. Currently, they are a Senior System Engineer at UNINETT, where they are responsible for designing, developing, supporting, maintaining, and advising on several projects. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior System Engineer at Unit – Direktoratet for IKT og fellestjenester i høyere utdanning og forskning. Armaz is currently a Senior System Engineer at Sikt – Kunnskapssektorens tjenesteleverandør.
Armaz Mellati completed an MSc. in computer science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1992 and 1996.
