Bodil Agasøster

Bodil Agasøster has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several sectors. Bodil is currently working as a Product Manager at Sikt – Kunnskapssektorens tjenesteleverandør, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of the Survey and Data Services section at NSD - Norwegian Centre for Research Data from September 2018 to December 2021.

Between October 2016 and August 2018, Bodil worked as a Policy Officer at the European Commission, DGEAC. From February 2011 to October 2016, they held the position of Head of Office at the South Norway European Office in Brussels. Before that, from September 2008 to February 2011, they worked as a European Affairs Consultant at Agasøster Consulting.

Bodil's earlier experiences include working as a Programme and Project Manager at the European Commission from October 2003 to June 2008. Bodil also served as an Advisor at the Department of Media Policy and Copyright from November 1999 to June 2008.

Bodil Agasøster pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen (UiB), which they completed between 1989 and 1996. Later, they enrolled at the University of Aberdeen, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Politics & International Relations between 1996 and 1999.
