Irene Lona

Irene Lona has extensive experience in project management, particularly in the realm of digital innovation in education. Currently serving as a Project Manager for DIGIN at OsloMet – storbyuniversitetet since November 2014, Irene leads initiatives aimed at enhancing digital teaching practices and knowledge sharing across academic environments. Concurrently, from November 2023 to March 2025, Irene is also a Project Manager at Sikt, focusing on the acquisition of digital examination solutions for higher education institutions. Irene's previous roles include positions as a Digital Editor and Marketing Manager at Cappelen Damm Akademisk, as well as various marketing and administrative positions in different organizations, including Akribe AS and the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Irene holds multiple degrees in areas such as Knowledge Management, Digital Transformation, and University Pedagogy from prestigious institutions including Copenhagen Business School and OsloMet.
