Paul O'Rear

Paul O'Rear has extensive experience in international coordination and translation resources, currently serving as the International Coordinator for Translation Resources at SIL International since September 2015, after progression from the role of Associate International Translation Coordinator. Prior to this, Paul O'Rear worked at Microsoft from March 2002 to September 2015, holding positions as Senior Production Engineer in the Office Division and Program Manager for Help Integration in the Developer Division. Earlier career highlights include ownership of Helpful Solutions from 1995 to 2008 and serving as a Senior Developer at Sageline Publishing/Sageline Software from August 1997 to March 2001. Paul O'Rear's educational background includes graduate studies in Linguistics at the University of Oregon and Seattle Pacific University, a BA in Religion from Messiah University, and undergraduate studies in Theology at Oral Roberts University.
