Yury Zaytsev

Yury Zaytsev is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel for the International Boxing Association IBA since December 2020. Since February 2017, Yury has also been a Co Partner at SILA International Lawyers, overseeing a group of companies, attracting clients, managing projects, and participating in negotiations and court proceedings. Prior to this role, Yury was a Partner at Legal Sport from March 2014 to January 2017, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Yury's legal expertise includes significant contributions as a Senior Lawyer for the 2018 FIFA World Cup LOC Russia, where a legal department was established, and federal legislation pertaining to the event was prepared. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Head of the Legal Department at the Russia Football Union, focused on regulatory development and dispute resolution. Yury Zaytsev earned a Specialist degree in Jurisprudence from Kutafin Moscow State Law University between 2003 and 2008.
