Evan Clasen

Evan Clasen currently serves as a Battery Operations Engineer at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since May 2021, following a position as a Battery Engineer at Panasonic Energy of North America from July 2020 to May 2021. Prior experience includes a role as an R&D intern at HP, where research focused on media formulation and environmental implications of ink technology. Evan also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Theberge Group, assisting in microfluidic system design, and at the University of Washington's Hillhouse Group, conducting electrochemical experiments related to pharmaceutical degradation. Early career experience includes a summer position at Shell, where industrial water usage and fire safety evaluations were conducted. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained in 2020.
