Saujan Sivaram

Saujan Sivaram is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in product design and materials development, currently serving as a Senior Staff Product Design and Integration Engineer at Sila Nanotechnologies, Inc. since September 2019. Prior roles include Managing Senior Staff Product Design Engineer and several other engineering positions at Sila Nanotechnologies. Previously, Saujan worked at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory as an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials for various applications, with notable achievements in improving optical properties of monolayer MoS2. Earlier experiences include an R&D internship at Lonza, graduate research at Georgia Institute of Technology, and a position as a Science and Technology Analyst at USG.
