Jian Wen Choong

Jian Wen Choong has worked at SiLC Technologies, Inc. since 2021 as a Development Engineer. Prior to that, they were an Academic Tutor at The City College of New York from 2020-2021, a Research Assistant Intern at the Advanced Science Research Center, GC/CUNY from 2019-2020, and an Academic Tutor and Undergraduate Research Assistant at LaGuardia Community College from 2017-2019.

Jian Wen Choong obtained an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering from LaGuardia Community College between 2016 and 2018. Jian Wen then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering at The City College of New York, which they completed in 2021. In October 2020, Choong also earned a certification in Photonic Integrated Circuits 1 from MITx on edX.
